Sinbad did not have any formal training in comedy, but he has been a comedic actor since 1967 when he was 15 years old. He started out doing stand-up comedy at the age of 16 at local clubs and theaters until finally making it big with the TV show In Living Color in 1990.

Sinbad started his career in 1977 when he worked on the popular TV show, Laugh-In. His other TV credits include The Sinbad Show, Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger, Sinbad and the Minotaur, and Sinbad: Beyond Westworld. Sinbad went on to play supporting roles in many other blockbuster films including Dogma, Boogie Nights, Forrest Gump, The Mask of Zorro, The Sum of All Fears, 10 Things I Hate About You and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.
